Hi there backpacking. It was so wonderful to meet you at the airport this morning. Your Brian seems like such a wonderful young man! Best wishes to him on his continued journey in Pensacola.

I just wanted to stop by to see if you're sleeping any better now that Brian is a sailor. My Brian's call the other day did wonders for my peace of mind. It's great to be able to sleep. Oh btw, my son said he's only a few racks down from yours :)

I really believe it's definitely a mom thing. We just have that longing in our hearts to connect with them because we spent so much of our lives nurturing them as they grew up. It's only natural we would want to see for ourselves that they are truly ok and looking well. Not to mention how it does our heart good to have them in our arms again. Maybe you and I can encourage each other in these last few days to get through it. :)

Oh I am right there with you. For some odd reason I have had so many tears this week...more than the first 2 weeks I think. Here's a (((HUG))) for you....we'll get through it.
