Wish we could see a group picture

Do they just randomly take group pictures of some of the ships and divisions. I sure wish they would think seriously about posting a pic of Ship 07 Div. 245.

Anyone get any mail saying what or how our group is doing. Last letter I got my daughter didn't have much to say about BC just wanted to let me kow she was ok and that her mail hadn't caught up with her yet from anyone. I don't understand that. But we did get the wrong address from her BF and so all her mail went to that address first I guess. I am hoping that I hear from her this week. A call would be great but a letter will do. Tomorrow is her 21st b'day. And I miss her so much. I can't wait… Continue

Got the box !!!

I received my daughters box FED EX yesterday with her clothes and her cell and shoes in it. Also all of her paperwork for the trip from MEPS to Bootcamp. I still have not received a letter yet with her address on it. Hopefully in the next few days. I sure do miss her. And the first letter from her in her writing will be even more exciting to get.

My daughter left for boot camp today. She is going to try for Air Rescue swimmer. Anyone have a son or daughter in this field or getting ready to go there from Boot Camp? She said her schooling will be in Pensacola. She will be testing out for this during boot camp. Had to take a nonsense job until she could do the testing.

I haven't gotten much response about a division 245 mini-Meet & Greet.  Maybe I'll post comments here and there next week suggesting it again and see what pops up.  If nothing else, I will see you at the PIR Meet & Greet... even if I have to back flips to find you!!!  jk, of course!  That gymnastics ship sailed eons ago!  lol  Though, it would make it easy for you to find me... just look for the flashing red ambulance lights.  haha

I would be interested in what information you received about graduation pictures when you called.  I've just been trying to gather info from here and there so I'm not sure that what I think I know is really correct.  Thanks!

I have lived in Whittier for 31 years, having moved here from Chicago where I grew up.  Kind of just the opposite of you!  Do you ever make it back to this area?
