it has been a crzy week for me too, trying to get my homework done also so i don't have to take mine with me! Also trying to get ahead of things at work so nobody has to pull my part and theirs! We probably won't make it to the meet and greet. I am disappointed. Our plane lands at 6:50. Where are you from? We will be flying in from Reno. We are so excited, Ethan sounds like he is too.

Glad you heard from Noah. We prayed he and Ethan will get to meet while we were at bible study last night. A friend of ours that is an instructor in aviation at a base here in ca. assured me Battle Stations isn't that bad. The ones that have made it this far shouldn't have any problems now. "Talk" to you soon. Please pray that my 3 kids get work from their teachers the beginning of next week so they can do it before we go. Teachers seem to be dragging their feet.

Your son would be an answer to my prayers. Sounds like you and I have been praying the same prayers!! We got a letter from Ethan today dated the 29th. He sounded good. Said he had a cold and pink eye, but is healthy now. He said this week is firefighting and drill inspection. He was excited about it. He got his orders and does not check into "A" school until Sept. 28. We are staying there until the morning of the 22nd, would have stayed longer had I known that earlier. We have a friend about 2 hours away that said Ethan can stay at their farm whenever he wants.

He hasn't said much. Said he was doing good, last letters sounded abit more positive. He to is discouraged with his division not working as team. I am praying for our sailors, will add enire ship/division at bible study tomorrow night. I have been praying that my son will meet another christian boy that will be going to A school after PIR also. Just wishing for even a brief phone call so I can tell by hisvoice how things are really going. Maybe they will work even harder on pulling together after they were told how bad they are. My huband spent 12 years in Marine Corp. he sai they have tore down our sailors but this i when they start building them back up.

My son seems to be doing ok despite all the IT. I'm glad to hear he's taking it all in stride. The good thing that is getting these kids through it now is that they are all thinking ahead to A-school. Does your son seem to be handling everything ok these days?

My son is NUKE. He'll be leaving as a grad n go on Saturday at 3 a.m. for Charleston, SC. What about you son? Let's just hope these kids can hang in there a few more weeks. Brian hasn't gone into detail about why they were getting all the IT just that he's doing a lot of it. I'm going to try not to worry but I think 'worry' is my middle name. :)

Hi there countrymom~ since my son is in the same ship/division, I am equally concerned about all the IT the boys are doing. Did your son seem discouraged? Is he hanging in there despite it all? I have been praying extra hard for my son over the last two weeks. I'll be sure to include the whole division in my prayers.
