I am sooo looking forward to this packing party! I think we are going to have a very special as well as great time together. Can't wait to meet you IRL.
Navy Momma Hugs,
Donna
Good Morning Christine!
I am writing you because I saw that you were interested in a packing party that was planned but then cancelled. I want to personally invite you to the very first Southern New England Regional Packing Party on Saturday, Dec 1st, from 11:30am to 5pm (or earlier if we finish earlier).
This party is a GO! It will NOT be cancelled regardless of the numbers.
So won't you please consider joining us?
There is a discussion about it in Connecticut Navy Moms page with all the details. Please take a look and see what's happening and then plan to be there.
If you would please respond either to this comment, by PM, or just leave a message/comment in the discussion room it would really help.
I look forward to meeting you in person.
Thanks for considering this.
I certainly understand if you won't be able to be there - I guess we have to be mothers to all!
:)
We could share stories about our boys!
Thanks for reaching out to me. I would love to meet for coffee sometime! My son has a few close friends who are in the service, but the Marines. No other Navy Moms that I can talk to. I miss him so much. He does try to reach out to me as much as he can. It's much tougher now that he is overseas.
How far into A school is your son? Graduation was amazing, wasn't it? I have pictures from that day that I'll treasure forever!

Hi. I got his box yesterday. I just spoke to his recruiter, he gave me Ship 2, Division 920. I'm still going to wait for the form letter to make sure this is correct. Do you know your son's yet?
Christine, I'm actually waiting for his flight to land. It's due to land at 8:05pm CT. Then I'll be anxiously waiting by the phone :)
