OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi there. I answered your questions about the password on the Division Discussion but thought I would post here as well.

dibononavy - You willnotreceive a new Form Letter.

Call PAO RTC and ask for the new Password for the new PIR date. Phone: PublicAffairs Office 847-688-2405

You have to have the original Password (which you do :-)) in order to get the new one. They will ask you for it so just have your original Form Letter handy. It's the only time that they ever give out Passwords since they are confidential. I have never been able to find out if they are Division specificorPIR specific...but specific they are! It is confidential and they ask for recipients not to give it out to each other. The only other way is to get it, for those that lose the original Form Letter, from your recruit.
