Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

My son Kevin left on July 16, but his father and I are divorced and don't speak, I have been sending letters since the 17 to Great Lakes but I don't know his division. I did not receive a call, a package nor a letter. I am so proud, but I have not been included in anything, and it hurts! Unfortunately, my son didn't include me either, the divorce put a lot of strain on my family and I didn't find out he was joining until until the 12 July. I still write but feel if he wanted me involved he would write. I am writing my last letter today, the pain of not knowing is killing me! DeeLi
