jusme627, where are you stay at when you come out here for PIR? We are staying at the Courtyard, they gave me the best deal with my goverment discount. I hope we get up there in time for the Meet and Greet but, I'm not sure. Maybe we will meet there or at PIR.

Hello, I am not sure about the grad-n-go either. My son told me he would not find out until right before PIR. I hate not knowing, but I am hopeful he will get to come home at least for Christmas. I spoke to my friends son, who is in the AirForce. He told me that if they put him on hold after BC, that he may have the choice to come home for the holidays. But it would be at his own cost. So nothing concrete about that. He also was not in BC during any holidays, so... I guess we will have to keep our fingers crossed.

And this is the link for PIR 12/03. Have you recieved any calls yet? I thought I had missed one last week, but recieved adopt-a-sailor papers yesterday and my dear son has my area code wrong. We have two different ones in our area nad he got them mixed up. So frustrating... now i have to possibly wait until he receives the letter I mailed this morning letting him know the correct one. I pray our division stays on track from here on out. I cannot wait until PIR.

My son is going to be a Gunner's Mate. They will not be in the same school but, still may run into each other from time to time since in A school I think they have alittle more freedom. Are you coming to PIR?

Hello jusme627, My son is also ship03 div 018. these last weekes have bee tough. I am thankful we all have each other here to find out as much as we can about our "kids". There is a group for our division as well, just search under the group section, or type in the search bow. It should bring it up. Our PIR is approaching, and I have been constantly checking N4M for updates. Our SR's are always in my prayers for strength.~ Delia

Thanks for the invite. What school will your child be going to? My son will be staying at Great Lakes for his school.

I'm not sure where to stay, there have been so many choices posted! I am probably going to end up going with the cheapest since we will be there the weekend, unless I hear my daughter is a grad and go. Do you think they find out soon if they are?
