OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the PIR Group! I am not actually a part of the group ...meaning that my son has graduated bc and A School and is stationed. But I started this group for moms like you and drop in to handle questions and lend support. So ask any question on the site that you wish!
