I just remembered - for those of you in Ship 03 DIV 175 - my son said that Friday was Week 4 - Day 1 and Monday would be 4-2. Every Friday is the new week and weekends don't count. Also told me he ordered the division shirt - they turned out really nice...I believe it was a female who helped design it!! They were sized for dress whites...he really likes them. Have not had pictures yet, but he had another haircut - haha Things are moving along...

Hi Kathy- any pictures u have to share regarding the grad ceremony I would greatly appreciate seeing them. Thanks
Hi, Kathy -- about the letters, our SR said that they can receive them for a while, and specifically did ask for us to keep writing and sending. Thought that the letter sent last Sun. would be the last they could send. Sent letter out yesterday, and will send one more tomorrow; hoping it will be there Mon. or Tues. Have a good night :)
Thank you for your message. I think my parents(who live 10 minutes from the Meps office, so they said they wouldn't miss it) are going to go to MEPS with my son, since it would just be the two of them and he feels he can handle that. He can be a very emotional kid and I know that he is more concerned him breaking down, than me. So I promised him we wouldn't go and would see him at PIR. I just pray my parents remember to take their camera.
Hello - hope things are well for you and your SR; we rode to Great Lakes today, and had a look at the area. It was quiet, yet I'm glad that we were able to be close to our SR - sort of!! Hope this week goes well --
Hi Kathy! I'm looking forward to tomorrow. I usually get letters on Thursday so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get some. Haven't heard a word since last Thursday, and that mail was days old. I guess Ali's div was not allowed to call last weekend. Anxious to hear how her last week has gone. Hope you get mail as well.
You're welcome :-)
kathyrc - Happy Mother's Day to you too! You guys keep me sane :)
Did everyone hear from Ship 3 Div 175...didn't get a call today :( But I'm happy to get an update about the DIV from kathyrc...happy you had a chance to talk to your son, kathyrc :)
Hi kathy- we just heard from our son today-he called and said he's doing good. It's tuff but he is pushing himself and trying to excell in everything. My son in graduating June 8th also. His name is Gordon L. and he says the food is actually very goodHA! We got a letter from him last week also. We are from San Antonio Tx and my son is the first in the fam to enlist in military. I am sooo proud.
