OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi there, thanks for the friend request... The call I got first was the one saying, "I'm here, I'm safe, I love you." I got that call on July 14th around 30 minutes after he got to BC. Then my second call on the 1st of August, which I should have the Wednesday before that, but somehow my phone wasn't working. Then I got my 3rd call today, the 14th of August. The only reason I got a call today tho, was because his division is doing really, really well. As they do good, they get more "fun" things to do...like making phone calls. :)
