Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thanks so much for your interest in the ribbons or other items I make. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. I am more than happy to help with anything I can. I will have my cell number at the end of this message and if you ever need anything at all please let me know. I may not always know the answer to a question but I can usually find out pretty quickly :-).

The ribbons are a great way to show your pride and support for your Sailor. They also make it easy to recognize others from the same division and they make a wonderful keepsake. You can check them out on my facebook pages or my website. I am happy to help in any way I can. You can always reach me on Navy for Moms, through my email: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com  andhere  is a link to my website http://www.uniquememorymakers.com/main.sc

Please share the info about the ribbons and other items on my website on navy for Moms and on facebook. Word of mouth is my only advertisement so I really appreciate your help J

I look forward to hearing all about your recruit. I hope you are handling everything okay. This can be very hard for so many people, including me.

Talk soon,

Lora

Hi Leigh. I am having a tough time navigating the site also but I am sure glad it is here! My sons name is shane. If its easier we can email dbeacon@yahoo.com. I have other kids at home but it doesn't make it easier. Its nice to be able to talk with other moms going through the same thing.
