Jen, how are you? How is your guy? I haven't been on here in awhile. My son is an FC & going to VA. What about yours? Did you know Jessica broke up with him? SOOO SAD! I have mixed feelings about it. Do you keep in touch with her still? I don't know, maybe it's for the best. What I do know is God has a plan for both of them.
Watch the four videos, look at the Powerpoint presentation - it will give you a really good idea what your recruit will be going trhough. Click on the links on "HOW TO DO STUFF ON N4M" to learn how to use this site.
Remember to check you status box (upper right) for messages on your Inbox, friend requests, etc.
If you are using Internet Explorer, download Mozilla Firefox (free) and use it to print your parking pass for PIR. Parking passes are normally available about one to two weeks prior to the actual PIR date. Go here to get your pass. You'll get a letter with the PASSWORD. KEEP THIS LETTER http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp
I know, it's so fast, but I bet they are happy about that. I know my son probably is. Good to have friends. Do you know where you are staying during PIR yet? We are staying at the Quality Inn, I think. We won't call to reserve the room until Thursday, so maybe - maybe not. Talk to you soon.
Another RC from American Canyon? Wow! Or it could be his mother just joined? Is she Kalismere? Anyway, it's great to have you.
