Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Jen, how are you?  How is your guy?  I haven't been on here in awhile.  My son is an FC & going to VA.  What about yours?  Did you know Jessica broke up with him?  SOOO SAD!  I have mixed feelings about it.  Do you keep in touch with her still?  I don't know, maybe it's for the best.  What I do know is God has a plan for both of them.

Oh ok. I will be wearing a Navy Blue tshirt with "NAVY Mom" in yellow on it. So, ok, see you then - less than 3 days now. We are staying at the Quality Inn Waukegan, also.

I know, it's so fast, but I bet they are happy about that.  I know my son probably is.  Good to have friends.  Do you know where you are staying during PIR yet?  We are staying at the Quality Inn, I think.  We won't call to reserve the room until Thursday, so maybe - maybe not.  Talk to you soon.
