Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Profile Information

A little about me:
Mother of 3 girls and 1 boy. I am currently owner and director of a Christian Preschool. I also teach the 3 yr. old class. My husband and I have been married for 26 1/2 yrs. we took in 3 boys that lost their mother to cancer, they have all moved out now. My daughter is almost 24 and in Great Lakes @ BC. I have a son who is 22, a daughter @ NC State who is 19 and a junior in High school who is 16. Looking forward to meeting many of you and most of all seeing my daughter. :)

I see you joined the Moms of Daughters 2 group and I want to welcome you!!!  We are a friendly, caring group of moms always willing to listen and support.  Please feel free to jump in and join our chats!!  We like to discuss everything from our sailors to our jobs, weather, whatever.  It's also a great place if you want to yell, scream, vent, cry - - there is no judgment involved!!!  Brag about your sailor but also tell us when you are hurting because you miss her so!!!  Looking forward to getting to know you and your sailor!!  Again, Welcome Aboard!!!!

Hello Pebbles, yes, my daughter is on ship 02, Div 915, PIR 3/2. I don't know how she ended up in the "elite" group. She "used to" play the flute 4 or 5 years ago, but I don't as she'd remember how. She did get a decent ASVAB score, had decent grades in school, and has played 3 sports for 6 or 7 years. She is 5'7" tall too, someone said this is a "taller" group, no clue really. I guess I'll find out when she calls. My Cousin was in the Navy in a 900 division also, he said it could be how well she adapted to Navy life that frst week too.

Yes 900 division is that of the performers musically inclined, or flags etc. I am not sure what else it may include. We are in Everett, WA.
