OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

The Navy offers opportunities that...
I don't like not being able to pick up the phone and call him, but I know that is part of his training and conditioning.
I am very proud of my boy and I know he will have the best training ever.

Welcome to the AECF group! Looks like you have a new sailor in the house, congratulations! Is he at A school for ET or FC program? Both are great rates with lots of schooling on the front end. Our son is an FC and is stationed in hawaii and my hubby spent 10 years as an FC. Please let us know if you have any questions and welcome!

Hi and Welcome.
We are happy to have you on the Navy for Moms site. You are invited to join either the Illinois or Missouri family page as listed below. It is a great way to find families in your area and even help plan meet and greets. We also have some packing parties for our troops overseas getting together. (PS Sorry I have been away from the site for a couple of weeks—been super busy with fund raisers and with work.)
