OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Thanks for friending me Sandy.  I'm a Dad not a Mom though, LOL.  My son just graduated boot camp, and is headed to Goose Creek, SC tomorrow to begin his  nuclear power A school.  He will be there for the next 1-1/2 to 2 years.

Good Morning Sandy, My son is in bc now today is the third day.  We live in the Dallas Texas area, actually we live about 45 min NE of Dallas in the country.  He left from Dallas DFW on Tuesday2/8/2011.  When did your daughter go? It is defently much harder than anyone would expect.  Have a great day and thank you for being my friend.

Thank you for the friend request!!!  I see you are in New Hampshire.  You'll have to play tourist guide for me!!  Hubby and I are living in Schenectady, NY and we want to visit Vermont and New Hampshire as soon as the weather gets better.  Any suggestions of where we should go????  How are you holding up?
