OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

You are very welcome.  Love helping you all...Yes, been there-done that! My sailor PIRed in Feb 2010 so I have been helping out on here for a LONG time.  Have been involved with the BattleStations schedules for about 1.5 yrs.  Sorry we can no longer post the dates on the board as that made it easier.  Much tougher this way, but it is important that you all KNOW when your SRs are going through.  I'm still "missing" dates for 5 divisions though.

Not sure what division yours is in, but hoping that tonight is your SR's night!

Don't think any divisions from this group went through Battlestations last night.  PIR 9/1 was finishing up theirs.  We think that you all start tonight if you are in one of the first 4 divisions numbers!
