OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Sorry I just saw your post from the other day. Skyler has been sick also and has ankle pain but is trying to just push through because he is so afraid they will delay him. From what I have heard if they are delayed they are suppose to call to let you know so hopefully no news is good news. That is definantly how I am looking at it :) Skyler said that they have Battlestations Monday...Im assuming Monday night because I know it is an all night drill. He said he should be calling Tuesday. We will already be on the road but he call the cell phone.
