Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just an Update

I came home dec. 20th honorably discharged from the Navy, my husband went on leave dec 17 so he was already home we got married dec 23 and unfortunately he left 5am on Christmas morning :-( went underway for about a month and is no wback in port. administrative seperation!!!

I have received a recommendation for separation, which is what I wanted, the navy isn't all what I expected and I have had a few personal issues here in GL and don't wish to move forward, does anyone know how long it will take or the process or anything about this, I saw a psychiatrist a couple weeks ago and yesterday received a paper that says im recommended for administrative separation, no further details, I have to meet up at the medical liason every Thursday for a separation brief and…

Deployment already?!?!?!?

My sailor is still in A-school so when i asked him about moving, he said either he would be stationed on a base or he would be stationed on a ship and i would go to a port, or somthing like that, so when i talked to him last night he said he needed to make some things clear, that he has told me but he wasnt sure that i didnt understand, and one of those things he said was he could deploy after he is done with A-school , that that is wat he meant when he said he could be stationed on a ship.…
