For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Does anyone on here live in Anacostia Washington D.C?? or moving moving there soon?? My husband is stationed there and I am moving there in October. I would like to know do you guys recommend any apartments or townhomes??? I checked out the Bellvue but they have a 3-6month waiting list last I heard. Any information would help. Thanks -DEE :D

Today is Thursday and I didnt get my ususal letter :( I pray that he(my fiancee) is okay. I know that the weather has been severe in some places so maybe it delayed the mail a bit.
Being as tho we can't talk on the phone when we want to I rely / count on those letters every week. Its the only way I know he is okay and doing well :D

Hello Everyone,
I am new to this site. My fiance left December 14, 2010. At first it wasnt that bad because Christmas was coming and I was preparing everything for our son so I was distracted. Now that the holidays are over Im starting to feel full the effects of him being gone. Since he left I got 1 letter and he called his mom yesterday and he said they pulled two of his wisdom teeth(why I dont know). Im just ready to see him he graduates Feb 18th, 2011 and I can't wait.…
