I remember when me and him had to count down 8 weeks till we can see each other more often when I lived in San Diego. It did go by fast, but it was easier… Continue

Its been 5 days

5 days have gone by since my sweet love has left to bootcamp. I miss him so much, I know I have a long time until his first letter arrives so while I wait I've been writing a letter each day to make the day go by a little faster. It's hard not waking up and seeing him or looking at my phone with nothing there. I'm trying my best to adjust and make each day go by faster. Everytime I look at the time I jump 2 hours in advance, his time, and wonder what he's doing at the moment. Hoping he's doing… Continue

Just left town my

My boyfriend just left town to go and check in and do everything else that needs to be taken care of at meps then tomorrow the first "see you later, I love you" of the military life. Hugging him bye each time we depart kills me so bad I hate to see him go, but its all worth it. This is for us.

So his recruiter just picked him up and as soon as I got that hug I bursted into tears and as soon as he walked away I turned straight into his grandmas arms and we both cried as we watched them… Continue

From Day 1 to Last 6 Days

I met my boyfriend in the first grade when we were wee little kids. We were the best of friends always side by side no matter what and had each other's back. He pushed me on the swings and we played on the see saw together, ate lunch together. I must admit he was my first crush ever. I remember playing hopscotch with him during recess and asked him to be my best friend forever and without a thought he immediately said yes! As years went by, we grew up went to school together got seperated…
