For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Happy 20th Birthday
Today is my baby boy's 20th birthday. Kind of sad this is his second birthday I have not been with him but at least time I got to skype him to talk to him and see him. I miss him so much! Been a little while since I've been here. Met my future daughter-in-law during the Memorial day weekend and and my future grandbaby (although I didn't know all this at the time). So at the end of June my son texts me telling me I was going to be a grandma and shocked us all! Merry Christmas!
I had finally got my daughter to get over the fact her brothers wouldn't be home for Christmas and we were having Christmas when low and behold our oldest boy shows up Dec 1st. School
Well my son has passed his EMT classes and now on to picking orders and he got Surgery Tech School. He is bummed now he could of been in Naples but maybe next time. He is a bit upset but no words can fix it.
I miss the kid so much. Both of my sons. My daughter says no holiday celebrations in the house anymore since the boys are gone... boy she better learn fast. I will light my blue candles for Timothy and still they will be here in my heart and head and the celebrations…

Wow... just ran across a story by another mom and it hit home. My son had been my buddy for 3 years when he was little until his sister came along and then the past 2 years it was just him and I as his brother moved out to join the Army. Graduation
We didn't actually get graduation due to Timothy not passing a test on time. We got a call on Tuesday to say he passed he is now officially a E-3 Seaman and he will get liberty from 1600 to 2000. So we made the 3 hour trip up to see him. When I saw him standing in the parking lot I looked at him and thought "that kid looks like Jason (my cousin)" then my husband says "that looks like Jason" and then it hit me... THAT IS OUR SON!!!!
