OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

** Happy Mom's Day- to all the N4M's! :)**

Dearest Mom:
Happy Mom’s Day! <-- It’s YOUR day today : )

I know we are using that tag line in our videos: “You give them the values, we give them the opportunity”. And I was thinking …that one of the best parts of this site! I love reading these values. Some of values that you practice and talk about… my own mother passes down to me! It’s amazing how some mom-isms are really universal from Main to California and North Dakota to Texas. It doesn’t matter status, profession, and politics… because every mom on here… has this material instinct! You are a protector of your children, and thus they grew up wanting to protect also… and in your case… they protect our country. :o) These transitions are absolutely breathtaking to read about!

Since we met…
You’ve shared with me the ups, downs, struggles, and the sweet successes. I’ve cried. I’ve laughed. I've laughed so hard until I had tears running down my face.
You have challenged me.
You have given me advice.
You have taught me lessons.
You have educated me.
You have supported me personally.
You have supported this site. Thus, you have supported hundreds maybe even thousands of other moms who will read this site looking for advice and education.
You are a great mom. And I’m proud to call you my navy mom.

So… to sum it up!
Thank you for being such a great mom.
Thank you for raising such beautiful, brave and talented human beings.
Thank you for giving us our everyday heroes.
Thank you for being you mom.

Sending my love- over the Internet waves- to all my very special Navy Moms today.
