OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Moms!

I've all enjoyed learning about you and your remarkable Sailor(s)! You've done a fantastic job getting the site started, and now we'd like to let the world know about the community you've built! It will give other moms just like you a chance to come share their stories, or to get honest answers to the questions they may have should their child be considering the Navy.

Part of our efforts take us to Boston for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. We've gotten permission for 6 - 10 moms to actually walk alongside Sailors who will be in port that weekend and represent your online family! If this sounds like something you'd be willing to help us out with, please email Katie (kgreer@campbell-ewald.com). Walking spots will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. We'll be meeting with the Sailors prior to the parade and would love to see you there!

Thanks again for all that you've done. We hope that more mothers will be able to share and find comfort with you in the coming months!

Hello Moms!

So, I’m getting word from Katie that we have all our Navy Mom volunteers for the parade. : ) Thank you for responding to us about this event. If you are going to be at the event, please update the group on how it went!

Sincerely, Catherine
