You have joined the group, PIR 08/17/2012TG 40 — 13 Divisions (249–260 & 940).  That is where you will find others with loved ones in that division.  Know that divisions 259 and 260 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division. I see you are also a member of Boot Camp Mom's; you may also wish to join PIR Reference Information and New Members Stop Here.

Also, more for future information, whenever you post a Blog, be sure to put a title in the Post Title box.  If you don't, the program automatically puts the first 200 characters of your post in as the title,  It wasn't too bad this time since you had a short post, but other times it could be pretty long.

My son is on Ship 3 Div 254 with PIR date 8/17/2012. Waiting for a personal letter or phone call. Does anyone know if they will call cell or home phone??

Christina go to the PIR 08/17/2012......group look at "Discussion Forum"  Divsion 259 moms and others are there.  Discussion is for div 259 and 260 because it is such a large training group.  It was explained to me that they train together so whatever is going on with 259 should also be what 260 is doing, I think.  It's all new to me :)

armen, join the other groups mentioned in the first post as well.  The recruits choose which phone numbers to call, so your son could try either number.  Other than that first phone call, they usually have a designated number of minutes to call, so if they can't get someone at one number, they can call another number.  Did your son take an activated phone card?  If not, be sure to go to http://callsforrecruits.org/ and then mail him the numbers.  Ronny and Anna do a great job of getting numbers to you once you email them.  Your son's brother division is Division 253, so look for others with loved ones in either division.
