Dearest Navy Moms,

I am grateful for all of the support that everyone has shown during my time of loss and grief. I have been catching up at work so I have not been here to keep up.

I am so glad that your sailors from the USS Boxer are returning home. As you speak with them please let them know that I am proud of them and that I pray that they will obey the safety rules of the ship and move in pairs while they are deployed.

I am honored to know each of you and I am proud to be the mother of a wonderful hero. God bless each of you during your homecoming. Hold them long and let each of them know that we are all out here pulling for them.

Sincerely,

Melody Paxton

Proud Gold Star Mother

I signed up for the GSM group but no one has contacted me yet. Is there something that I am supposed to do in order to connect, other than signing up? Thanks for any info.

Melody,

I am so very sorry for your loss...you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I have to say, that is my truly worst fear for my son.  I am so incredibly proud of him for serving our country, but fearful at the same time.

God Bless you and your family!  I too hope your angel is watching over my sailor...
