Any one know what to do?
I have a 13 month old daughter and she is super attached to my husband who left for bootcamp 7 days ago. She has always been independent but for the past week she is inconsolable. She is so moody and it's like she dosent know what she wants. She climbs in to my lap just to get back down and sit on the floor and cry. She dosent want to take naps, and is always Eating. I know this might seem silly to some of you but I'm feeling so over whelmed and im not use to not being around my husband too. Any ideas I can do to make this easer on us both?

Are you nursing her or is she still using a bottle?

If she were a nursing baby, the boob is always a comfort, but otherwise, whatever you enjoy doing to keep busy, like going for walks or staying busy around the house, include her. Let her know that you miss daddy, too, but that you're going to have fun together:talk to her about how you are feeling as well as ask her how she feels, and hug lots. When my three were little in housing, I put all of my plastic ware as well as my pots and pans in the lower drawers and cabinets, and while I was in the kitchen, they could come in and use wooden spoons or plastic spoons/spatulas, and just let them pretend to cook along with me, or bang on pots and pans and "make music". The 3 of them kept one another busy and we also had indoor or outdoor picnics, which didn't have to be elaborate, but we would spread out a blanket and watch a video indoors, or eat at a little table outside. Just relax, understand that she could also enjoy going to a church for your Bible study while she plays in the nursery. The Navy Chapel usually has a lot to do. Keep her excited about the weather , doing her hair or whatever you do, do it with enthusiasm WITH her! You both miss Daddy, but get ready for him to come home by celebrating everyday together! Call the omsbudsman for any unknowns you need help with, and also contact Family Service Center for activities you could get involved in as well :-)

Thank you !
That is good advice.
I took her nap with her today and went on a 2HR jog. I noticed a difference when we stoped at the park half way threw the jog .
