Hello All Moms,
Thank you all for making this emotional roller coaster journey a bit more manageable for my family. I wanted to give an update on our SR. His original graduation date was supposed to have been yesterday (9/11/20), but it had been pushed back due to second ROM, in less than two weeks after they started their training (his arrival date was 7/14/20) they were sent back as a whole unit to an even harder ROM than the first one. It was so hard watching PIR yesterday....Since the second ROM, they had been working hard in trying to make up some time on a what he termed "condensed" schedule. I am so happy to say, they are now expected to graduate next week ....so second ROM did not push their graduation date by two weeks, only one. In his last letter he said his division had been so coherent with the newfound determination and they are ready for their Battle Station Test. He said he passed all his tests with flying colors and ready to start his Navy career. This Momma is beaming with pride and couldn't wait to share (and I finally figured out how to bring his picture from my phone to the page). I hope someone in similar situation will find this information useful as all the information has been for me.
