My son just left this week for boot camp.  Ship 04 Division 803.  Just wondering if anyone else is same?  Wondering what Christmas break will do to their graduation.

Hi my son also left 10/21/2014. I was wondering the same thing. How did you find out what ship and division? Thanks

Hi! My son shipped out on 10/21/14, too. Wondering how you found out your son's ship information?  As for Christmas, my son was originally supposed to ship on the 28th which I believe would have had him graduating 12/26. The recruiter said that the change in his ship date was to not interfere with Christmas. As far as I know, they should be getting out 12/19.

You didn't  get "the box" yet, did you?

Get back to me when you can... I'll be sure to let you know if our sons are in the same division :-)

There is no PIR on 12/19/2014 or 12/26/2014. Those who shipped this week should be in Push Divisions and should have PIR on 12/12/2014.

Christmas will not have any affect on PIR since your recruits will graduate ahead of it. Your recruits will check into the "A" School or training location and MAY be able to put in a chit to have Leave for sometime over the holiday stand down for the "A" Schools--it may or may not include Christmas Day; not all "A" Schools let the new Sailors take leave during the stand down.

SpunkyAlexis, do you know your husband's ship and division number yet?

Hi Guys, I received his box today, but no letter yet to find out division and ship number. I assume that it will come some time this week. :)
