OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Yes, we need to have numbered pages to facilitate easier searches, and look back on several weeks of conversations without having to page next and previous. ARGH.

Brenda, Dr. Cascio in Beaumont donated some toothbrushes/toothpaste to Patrick's ship. Do you need one?
Comment by Brenda Sue on December 30, 2009 at 9:21pm
CCR, are you trying to tell me (in a nice way) that I need a toothbrush?? hahaha

If you have bunches, bring me some and I'll send them to whatever bunch we adopt each month!!
That is awesome - did you just ask him or did he volunteer?

thanks for the fridge shell..and Dear lynn...you said it all!!!! this "was" a great site for support and understanding and reading the front page let us know about new members and also a chance to meet new friends...now its just (what I think) an adverisement or just total control over a site that NAVY moms HELP create and make a success! Our opinions don't seem to matter any more...push us out, there are 100's more joining each day...we will never leave but with growth comes some "growing pains" and I guess that what this all is.......but please change it up.....Trial and error my dear admins....! ♥

I agree. At least the "Featured Photo's" used to change and I always looked forward to that. But I've noticed lately that not even these are updated.
