Well here comes another Christmas without my one and only son. This is the hardest time of the year for me and I really didn't think I would have to go through two in a row. My son is heading down to Pensacola, Florida for airman training on December 20th. I do think of him often and I miss him dearly. I understand that the Navy is his life now and He has to do what they say right now but that doesn't change what is in my heart.

To all the moms out there that don't get to have their child/children home this holiday season, Lets keep them in our hearts and our thoughts everyday not just on the holidays. All of the military children are in my heart and I am very happy that we are leaving Iraq and our family , friends, and loved ones get to come back to US soil. To the ones that are staying over there. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Make the most out of everyday and stay positive.

Love to all.

Hi there - this is our first Christmas without him - he is about to PIR....in just 10 days - even if I am the last one to hug him, it is okay - I cannot wait to see him...we have been able to see him via photos taken at graduation - he is on the rifle drill team - blessings to all of you - hold Christmas in your heart - and that way it seems to be a comfort somehow -
