I'm Proud of all the Husband's,Wives,Son's, Daughter's,Brother's and Sister's that is on SHIP 13. They were all Strong,Humble and Dedicated Individuals to make it this far. This is just the begin to the road of Success,New Life and a Great Future for not only them but for Us (families) as well .Even thou we were not there with them it wasn't easy for most of us not being able to talk to our Love one's. I know for me it was very hard not being able to hear my Husband voice. Not being able to weak up each day knowing he's OK,it was very ruff.i found myself waking up everyday hoping its Thursdays so i can get a letter from him.I know they were all looking for letters from us as well. We did a great Job sending them letters as much as we did.We all made it this far so I Applause you all for being Strong and Holding things together while our Love One's were in Training. So lets all CELEBRATE when we see each other at PIR 9-28-12 because we are all family. This Site as been great help to me and i know i will continue to use it to LEARN more about NAVY LIFE and i will make sure i TEACH others what i LEARNED........
Proud Wife, I couldn't have said it better myself. My sr is on ship 3 but your words of encouragement mean so much to all of us. I still have several weeks to go yet but I am so excited. My son is my SR. and I miss him everyday but I am so proud of him for his commitment to a better future. It has been hard for me as a mom and for my son who has never been away from home but the end result will be worth it. I too look forward to Thursdays so I can a letter from him. I will continue to use this site after graduation since it has been a god send to me. Congratulations on your husbands upcoming PIR. I know you are so excited to see him. Enjoy and cherish every minute of the day and the time you get to spend with him.
