OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Deleting Your Profile deletes ALL your blogs, discussions, comments and groups (which you are the creator)

Dear N4M members,
It's possible if you are stressed out to post a blog, a forum discussion or a comment which you regret posting later on. You need not delete your profile. Look for the little "x" on the upper right hand corner. Just click on that and your comment (s) will be deleted. To delete a blog or discussion, you need to open up the particular blog or discussion and click on "Delete this ..." Only the creator of a group can delete the group or a comment posted by a member of the group. Admins of the group can not that delete comments posted by members or delete the group.

If you are the member who recently deleted your blog, we understand. Please rejoin N4M (with a different profile) and send my a friend request. I don't know of anyone nor can I think of anyone with a "golden" child - one who never gets into trouble. We all have episodes with our children - some more hair raising than others. Your son will live through this. You will too. You are not alone. Do not suffer through the coming months by self. Your friends without military experience will simply not understand.

BQB - you know where to find me.
