Okay so this is the first day I have gone with NO contact with my boyfriend since we stated dating, and WOW is it hard. Every time I hear my phone go off I want to run to it to see if its him, but then just before I take off I remember it CAN'T be from him, and that's a really hard realization. The one thought that really got me thru the day was that Caleb was going thru the first and possibly worst day at boot camp and he was doing it all for our future. When I remembered that it made me want to toughen up to and be able to stay strong for him while he was going thru his first day too. I got to say it really helped. All I really want to do is be able to right to him already, even just a little. I really hope he's getting thru today, but all I can do is hope and pray, which I am. Love you Caleb
This is a great group of women who are going through the same thing:

All I can say is write letters, send cards & pictures!!! That will help get him through boot camp. When you get his address, give it a lot of friends & family so he knows he has all the support behind him!!! The time will go by faster than you think!!
hey, my boyfriend left jan 5th as well, im very curious if they went together!?!
