OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

STORY OF THE MONTH
Story of the month A Message of Gratitude from a Military Mom.

Dear Build-A-Sign,

Thank you so much for supporting our soldiers....as a Mom of a soldier, this warms my heart to have you provide us with these wonderful banners. My son is serving his second tour in Iraq and I can't wait to greet him - with the banner - when he arrives home. God Bless You!

Sincerely,

Debbie

Not trying to do a commercial for this company but they have provided FREE banners and jumbo cards for our military for a number of years. They do a really great job, you can add a photo and personal message and really custom design a banner to welcome home your sailor. Your cost? Nominal shipping cost only. Check their site out, everyone that I know that has used their services has been really happy. They also provide jumbo cards to our military at no cost as well
