Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I'm glad the long discharge process is over and he's home. Especially with 2 of his brothers. (And you, of course) I can't imagine him being depressed at home, surrounded by so much family. Hope he enjoys college and finds out what he's interested in. Matt tried for 3 years and changed his major every semester and his college every year....just couldn't decide what he wanted.

Ok.....I have not comment on this thread AS OF YET....but Heather and I have been reading the bruising that has been going on here....and I did tell Brenda, that it made my stomach sick!
Let me start off with...I love you guys whoops girls, you get the pic
I have so many GREAT memories in the last 11 months and hope for a ton more this year
I remember...waiting at the airport for Brenda and waiting for her to walk down the stairs, { like she was some kinda of godess or something LOL} ....she and I were texting back and forth...and then she texts to me " I am wearing a denim skirt" .....
OH and that slip....now brenda may say she is conservative...but what lady whips her slip out in the middle of a busy NY deli...Well Brenda Sue does.....
And Cheesecake ...well cheesecake holds a memory for me I will NEVER forget...
Lynn Dear...God made a beautiful women when he made her....I loved just sitting and listening to her life stories, they are beautiful....Especially the one of when she met her husband and she knew then that she would marry him!

I have more memories and I want more....
Actually....I am at work covering for the women at the front desk and now she has come back and she wants her computer back....so I will have to finish later.....

OH angie just a bit of info....when you are out with N4M you feel you are so among old friends that anything goes.....yes...you are comfortable...in your own skin.....

That cheesecake (and Sue's speech) was one of the MANY highlight of the New York trip!!

Colleen, Yes, Mrs. Polly is Eric's mom. They are the ones that live on "Jap" Boondocks Road!!
