My son leaves for bootcamp next Tuesday. I know this is a wonderful opportunity for him but I have cried everyday since I found out he was leaving. He has just always been here for me and the adjustment without him is gonna be so hard. I'm enjoying every minute I have with him right now.
I was glad to find out I will be able to write to him. Do I need to send stamps with him so he can send letters back?
All above GREAT INFO for you!! Stay connected with this site, get in with the group or ship that he is on. You will meet some friends for a lifetime too. My son Graduated from BC in Dec. It really seemed to go by fast to me. I kept myself busy, and every other night after I got off work I would write to him or type him letters(he always made fun of my hand writing so I typed most of them to him). He has since Graduated his A School and is now in Canine School for the Military Working Dog School. He will graduate from that in May. It has been a fun journey and it has HELPED HIM TREMENDOUSLY!~!! You will be soo over come with Pride when you go for his Graduation. Enjoy your time, BE STRONG and HAVE FUN!!! Many Blessings to you and your Sailor.
Anita
