FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Each year, the United States Military Academy and the United States Naval Academy come together to compete in one of college football’s most time-honored rivalries – the Army-Navy Game. Last year, our midshipmen won the game 34-0 in the first shut-out in the game’s history making that the seventh Navy win in a row! Tune in to CBS this Saturday the 12th at 2:30 PM (ET) to watch and cheer on Navy as they play their 110th game against Army at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field!

That's easy Abby, you say Go Navy, Beat Army to you son & dil and then you look at your Army veteran husband with a smile and a slow wink!! LOL

Congratulations Pat, and I know you're really going to enjoy it. Just be prepared for security because they're expecting a very special guess to attend... Can we say Secret Service? Hope you're dressed real warmly while you watch my dd Alma Mater beat Army!!

Hi Bea, that's a BEAUTIFUL photo of the "Long Gray Line"!! If I was more Tech Savvy I'd post my glorious photo of the entire Brigade of Midshipmen from the 2007 March On too. Thanks for sharing!!

For all those attending the game, be sure to check SIZE of bag you can take into stadium. In 2007 in Baltimore, they wouldn't allow bag beyond a certain size. I'll tell you, there were many very vocal Navy and Army academy moms who were blasting at the stadium people who made them check-in the bags in that were oversized - some of these bags were PRIZED academy bags which would be hard to replace. I found a medical bag from Army surplus store which was perfect for under $20. Also extra plastic baggies to put inside your socks to keep feet warm.
