What a wonderful day...after 6 weeks of not hearing my son's voice or seeing him and not even a letter in two weeks...I picked up my phone to check my facebook and My son had just posted a message telling me Merry Christmas on his wall...with tears flowing and my hands shaking I asked " how did you do that!!" He commented back ...Adopt-A-Sailor has our Division at a church and their taking care of us"!....After a few more commenting back and forth he said get on Skype....I was not at home so my daughter said hang on and made us a Skype on her phone....What a WONDERFUL surprise it was to see his beautiful smile ....so that simple phone call home turned into me getting to see him too!!! To everyone that had a hand in making the Adopt-A-Sailor possible...THANK YOU FROM ONE VERY THANKFUL MOMMA...I hope you were as blessed in a very special way because what you made possible for me on this Christmas day was truely AMAZING ...GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!
I feel the same way. Thank you
Seller's ship,
Your blog really made me smile! It's wonderful that you were able to hear from your son on Christmas! Skpe is the best invention ever!! My sons in NY state and he had to work yesterday so he didn't get to come home this year. We were going to go see him for a few days but the weather didn't cooperate so we're staying home.
So happy for you.
