Today is June 24th, the Wednesday of the 4th week of Boot Camp, so Chrissy is half-way to her PIR on July 24th! Yeah! I have gotten three letters and one phone call, and hope to get another phone call soon. It has been awesome to hear all the news from other Div. 258 Moms. I know that Chrissy is friends with at least one of the other women. That woman's Mom, LaVonda said that Chrissy sprained her ankle. Please pray for her that she will heal quickly and it will not delay her PIR. And I hope that Chrissy will call me soon, so I can just hear her voice and confirm that she is ok. Thank you also for all those who have already been thru Boot Camp and share thier wisdom with me. All you Moms are awesome!

Vicky please hang in there. I too am a christian and have been praying for you and Chrissy since I talked to Kirstin yesterday. Maybe you can have some comfort in that from what I have read on here if there is some medical problem she will get to call home.
Continuing to pray....

Wow isn't the Lord amazing! He answered your prayer Karen just as you were writing it. Chrissy called me 20 minutes ago. She will be in physical therapy for about two weeks and then she will be put in a new division. She is disappointed that this will delay PIR and she will not be able to graduate with all her friends. She mentioned some of the kids by name, Brittany, Jesse and Nick. But she sounded positive and determined to continue her training. Thank you everyone for your prayers.

Yes, thank you all for your prayers, prayer and a positive attitude will help in her recovery. I told her that I had asked the "Navy For Moms" Moms to pray for her.
All of the recruits seem to like that we "talk" to each other. I think it really boost their moral. I am on a lot of websites but this one is my fav!
