Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Happy Mom :)) Tickets Bought to go see my son GRADUATE

OK Guys i haven't been on for a while cause things have gotten better for me i write to my son every day like i was talking to him when he was here and like just got home i would tell him about my day so that's what i have been doing and found it to be soooo soothing so far i have gotten 4 letters and 3 phone calls from him WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!! he is doing good tired and sleepy all the time but he told me the funniest thing "What keeps him going through the day is the GOOD food at the end of the day not enough time to eat but you have to count your blessings. One of his favorite food was Cream Spinach at home he said he got steamed spinach and put cream and Parmesan cheese and remembered home and called it his cream spinach lol. My Brandon will be Graduating on Nov 18th with God's help nothing goes wrong from here on out cause we bought or tickets already to go see him in Chicago so in 22 days i will be holding my son in my arms again and I will be the PROUDEST mom in the WHOLE Wide World  :)) "sorry other moms" you'll get ur turn :) But i must say THANKS THANKS to this web site because without you all I would of been LOST in tears more days than i was to all you moms out there there is a Gold  lining at the end of this Rainbow it hurts at first but keep strong and hold on for the ride give ur kids Strength,loving words and be there for all the phone calls. On this site a mom said something and i tried it i wrote down questions for my son but in Q A format 2-3 lines for ans was left blank after each question he Loved it said it made things much easier all he did was answer the question and mailed it back to me and we got all the answers we wanted Thank you to that mom.

So funny about the food.  My daughter says the same thing! What keeps her going is knowing another meal is ahead and when she can hit her rack and sleep.  They are so tired!
