Some of the sailors will go to Florida...my son is as well...but there are some that will stay there at Great Lakes, some will go to Texas and so forth...it depends on what training needs to take place for the particular sailor.
No, all of the new Sailors do not go to Florida. There are "A" Schools in 21 locations in 14 states. Where your then Sailor goes to "A" School or training all depends on his contracted rating (job/specialty). Do you know what his rating (job/specialty) is going to be?
I left info for you on your My Page.
Morning Glory, I left info for you on your My Page.
My son is heading to South Carolina
It all depends on how long his A school is based on the rate he is in. Once he finishes A school then he will either go on to C school or get a duty station assignment. When is is PIR date?
Amanda, "A" School is based on the contracted "rating" (job/occupational specialty) not "rate" (rank).
depends on what the sailors schooling nis, is where they go. my husband was ar great lakes then went to va and now we are stationed in sandiego.
Alicia, I left info for you on your My Page.
