What ship is your Sailor on?

Comment by lemonelephant on April 18, 2013 at 7:15pm

Emma, I asked "What ship is your Sailor on?" That comment indicates that I believe this person has a SAILOR, not a recruit. AbbyBlue's comment is also related to a person with a SAILOR on a ship. Just saying.

Oh, and Barb was looking for clarification of the question--a good thing to do since the question is vague, but a look at dan's page tells us that dan is the "grandfather of (a) crewmember" indicating that he is indeed asking about sending a package to an actual Navy ship in the Fleet. Some of us have Sailors and do not just believe that everyone is referring to BC when they post.

dan, I hope this hasn't scared you away.  Have you gotten your answer? What ship is your Sailor attached to? There are groups on here for many of the ships and there are official sites for them as well.

BTW, you can change your profile pic to indicate that you are a male and not a female as pictured.  We do welcome all family members and I think we have more info than http://www.navydads.com/.

Thank you lemonelephant!

Dan you can get free flat rate boxes from USPS and you will need custom forms to fill out. If you have his address make sure you put the last 4 digits in the zip code. It cost a little over $13 to ship a large box but can not exceed 35 lbs. I hope this helped you.
