OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Very kind and caring and informative.. Each and everyone did their best to help with anything they could.. I am also thankful to the Nex Corner Store which if you stay at the Navy Lodge you get a card from the Navy Lodge which allows you to make purchases at the corner Nex. That was great cus we were totally lost but all we had to do was ask at the desk and they would give us a map to where we might need to go...So any new Moms pls feel free to ask me and if i can help with something i will try and give it my 110% to find out and get back to you... Click on above link to see a list of Navy For Moms groups associated with ships. There is a group for USS Barry but not for the USS STOUT DDG55. If one of you has a sailor on that ship, please feel free to start a group and I'll add it to the list.
