My fiance left march 1st and it has been tough but I know why he is doing this and I knew he was joining the navy when we got together! I just miss him more than ever! I am glad that our families keep me busy ! I do love him just I don't know what to do when I'm bored depressed and can't sleep here ? I also do try to plan a little bit of our wedding at times but try not to set anything for sure because I need to check with him as it is our wedding :)! What would be a good hobby? I am new to this and am managing ok but I am always looking for suggestions to make my days pass quicker until his graduation?! I got a few letters now and that makes me so happy and makes me feel very loved! I am proud of him and I write to him a lot encouraging him and letting him know everything is ok here just I find myself with free time here that allows me to get upset because he isnt here or just a call/ txt away right now.... Please write advice on how you deal with it or what seems to make it easier!

Have you found the groups for wives/GFs here?  It helps talking it over with others who are going through the same thing.

There are tons of hobbies, so that's hard to suggest for me.  Everything sounds fun.   But what I do suggest is looking at what you can do to be the best "you".  Working out and learning about health and nutrition. Train for a run, get a bike, swim.  Learn to cook, to budget, to go green.  Volunteer, especially if you can do something which is centered around veterans or the USO.  Making time for other people is a darn good feeling, and a way to "serve" too.
