My only child, my daughter left to boot camp July 28th. It's been very hard every day since. I have been crying every day. I raised her as a single mother. My heart feels so heavy. I don't even want to go home from work anymore because my place feels so empty without her now. It hurts to even look at her stuff or even walk pass them. To make matters worst her dog is missing her so much too. Sometimes he'll go sit by the door wait for her to walk in. He's been sulking around a lot too. Just breaks my heart. I feel so sad. She was always with me never stayed anywhere for more then a week. It's a tough week for me and her little shihtzu/maltese. I already recieved her box of clothes two days ago. When I opened it I sobbed and sobbed. Been writing to her already looking forward to a letter from her.
Tanna L, I left info for you on your My Page.

Tanya'smom, wait on The Form Letter to know the address and PIR date for sure. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening and what to expect.
I'm so glad to have all of your comments and advice. My daughter has been away for a little over a week. I am so excited for her to be pursuing her dreams. Blessing to all. Have a wonderful night.
lemonelephant, Thank you so much very helpful info.
annyD's mom, TyNavyMum, Navy_Mom_23, ProudmomofD3, Have you all received the form letter yet? I'm still waiting for an address to write my daughter.
Gosh I'm still so sad. I broke down at work yesterday. I had to make a beeline for the restroom to sob. I didn't want my coworkers to see me but one came in on me. But she already knew what was going on. She's so nice she stayed with me until I calmed down. I read some comments on how some of the SR get so discouraged because they get homesick, sad, etc. I hope she's not one of them. I pray everyday that she gets thru this.
