Sangie my son arrived last night for boot camp-8/15.. I know this is hard because I am in same boat.  Stand Proud and be navy strong..You will get a box of what he had on him when he arrived and a form letter will be placed in the box.  That should have an address-then in about a week they have mail call-then in about 3 weeks he will be able to call.  The calls are sporadic and at different times so make sure he calls your cell or stay close to home ph.  There is a chat here and the people on it are very supportive...Come join us and jump right in.

My son left for boot camp today from MEPs in Brooklyn.  Recruiter brought him there yesterday and I was told he'd be in Great Lakes today.  Waiting for that 30 second call!
