Hi Everyone, I am new to all of this so if you can please help me out with some questions I would greatly appreciate it.  My son was accepted into the OCS school in Newport RI, he is supposed to be leaving on November 8th, 2015. So that I can plan on being there for his graduation, how do I find out when it will take place? I know he said it is like 13 weeks long and that he will be home for approximately 2 weeks for Christmas which I am sure that would not be included in the 13 weeks of training.  Thanks.

Thanks Bkell32 for the information. My son just graduated college in May and was sworn in almost a month ago. He is also in the Nuclear Engineering Program. This is a first for me and I am a nervous Nelly. My daughter was a combat medic in the Army but she went through regular boot camp and it wasn't as far away from me and of course my son is my baby. My dad is retired Navy but that was back in 1982 and a lot has changed since then. I really do appreciate all the help and insight to help guide me through this transition.
