OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

OMG! I AM SO HAPPY THAT I WENT TO SEE MY SON GRADUATE FROM BOOTCAMP,...BUT WHATS UP WITH A SCHOOL? HOW DO I CONTACT HIM!!!!

I SEE MY SON BUT THE TIME IS SO SHORT, THE GRADUATION , LIKE NONE I EVER SEEN BEFORE. I WAS SHOCKED AT HOW PERFECT THE STEPS AND FLAGS WAVE.

THESE PEOPLE ARE REALLY CHANGING THESE YOUNGSTERS LIVES.

THE BAND WAS ON KEY AND THE WAY THE HIGHER RANKING MEN SALUTE TO STRONG NO SMILES JUST BRAVE EXPRESSIONS. THESE BOYS WERE MEN NOW. I CAME FOR MY SON BUT WOW, I WAS SO PROUD OF ALL THEM, I FELT LIKE CRYING FOR ALL THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS,  THE NAVY RDC'S I COULD JUST GIVE ONE BIG HUG THNX!!!!!!

BUT WAIT WAIT, MY SON A BETTER PERSON SEEMS TO BE STILL A BIT CONFUSED, HE DOESN'T KNOW HIS OWN ADDRESS  TO REACH HIM OR WRITE HIM.

HE DOESN'T KNOW A LOT! I DIDN'T KNOW I COULD STAY THE WHOLE WEEKEND TO VISIT HIM, I STILL KNOW NOTHING. HE SAYS HE CAN HAVE A CELL PHONE AND NEEDS A LAPTOP....HHHHMMM WOW, IS THIS TRUE. HE WAS SOOOO STRESSED OUT WHEN HE DID NOT HAVE A CELL PHONE, IF I KNEW I WOULD HAVE BROUGHT HIS TO HIM, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW. IT SEEMS TO MEAN SO MUCH TO HIM TO HAVE A CELL PHONE, SO NOW I SEE WHY. I CAN'T EVEN REACH HIM. I MISS HIM AND HOPE HE CAN CONTINUE TO DO WHAT IS SUPPOSE TO DO.

HE SEEMS TO LOVE THIS NAVY BUT SEEMS VERY LONELY. I REALLY WISH I KNEW MORE.

I WILL JUST TRY AND WRITE HIM AT THE BOOT CAMP ADDRESS MAYBE IT WILL REACH HIM?

Too bad you didn't join N4M earlier, you could have connected with all the other families whose recruit had PIR this last Friday. However, you should still join the that group. Since you'll met some of them already, it'll be fun reconnecting. Here is the link. Just click on it and click JOIN.

There are also A school groups.

Click on this link. When the page opens up, click on the two files, find the right group and join the group where your son will be.

Good luck.  Welcome to Navy For Moms.

By the way, it would be preferable to use lower case (with caps when appropriate). All upper case means in internet protocol they you are shouting. It is also very hard to read.
