Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Join the group, PIR 10/19/2012 TG 49, to connect with others with loved ones training with your SR. Divisions 343 and 344 are brother divisions and train together and will have Battle Stations-21 together, so look for others with loved ones in either division.
You may also wish to join, or at least check out, Boot Camp Mom's, PIR Reference Information, and New Members Stop Here.

My son is one week earlier that yours. He left on 8-14 and will graduate 10-12. My first letter was written on a Sunday, twelve days after he left and I got it on a Thursday. That next saturday I got a phone call. Keep your cell phone with you. Mine called at 10:30 in the afternoon. It was so good to hear his voice but he was all choked up. I don't think the guys realize how much they are going to miss home. I think my son feels that his friends will forget him. Unfortunatly he won't see them for awhile. Sending a smile your way.

Thanks for the smile! Today was actually the first day i felt i could face family/friends without crying when they asked about him!! Thanks for sharing about phone calls! I cant wait to hear his voice! I will,be thinking about your family on October 12 for your sons graduation! That is an awesome day, we were hoping to have graduation on that day since it is also my sons birthday! Thank you for your kind words!

My son is in the same Division as your son!! He left on August 27th!! Recieved his box and the form letter and the 1st initial call but no letters or other calls yet! :( Still waiting!! Stalking the mailbox and my phone!! I hope to hear from him soon!! I miss his voice!!!

We received the "im safe" call and then a few days later the box! We also recived the form letter. It was just nice to see his hand writing! I made sure that our mail lady knew we were waiting for a letter!! I am going crazy! I just keep telling myself no news is good news!
