Hey, I think I already posted on one of yours already, my boyfriend is in your sons Division too.
I got two letters yesterday from him, he said they're Division is doing so great that they've been rewarded with extra writing time, thru last week anyways. So check your mail box. =)

Hey Hi!! It's so cool I've found someone in my sons division!! My son said the same thing that they got extra writing time for doing so good! Yes my extra letter came! There has not been a day that i have not mailed a letter & my parents too! My son said he gets something from us everyday!! wonder if your boyfriend is in my sons section.(ask your boyfriend if a particular name stands out that gets alot of mail) My son said there is about 62 or so left in his division. It started with something like 75.....alot have dropped for various reasons. Im not sure how many are in each section but my son is a section leader. Maybe they know each other!!

I'm so excited too! are you going to the meet and great? I'm so proud of them, they're doing great in everything, except for the marching, thats what my BF said anyways. I try to send mine a letter everyday, but when I know I can't, I send him two, and he can only open one each day, I doubt he listened though. I bet they are, same ship and division thats how their divided up... So I've been told. I will, can I just ask for his name? or would that break a rule? he told me they started with 80 in the division and when I got my first letter they were already down to 71, 9 people quit in about two weeks, so I'm not surprised it's down another ten. each division holds up to 88 recruits. I've been doing tons of research on all kinds of stuff, so let me know if you have questions, I might be able to help... maybe. I bet they do, that would be so cool!! I know he's been talking about a few of his friends and shipmates not individually but as a whole. It be so nice to meet you at the meet and great,

hi.....yes i am going to the meet and greet as long as our plane arrives on time etc..my parents and two other kids 15 and 17 and my sister and her daughter. 7 of us....cant wait.we are actually staying at the ramada so it will be easy for us to attend. i have not been sleeping much as its past midnight right now. i think i can tell you his name but im not sure. can I ?? hahaha its funny cause i know there is rules on this site. maybe i will try to find the rules. since my son is a section leader they probably do know each other. my son is also a watchstander. i as well have been doing tons of research. if u have any questions maybe i can help too. all i know is that its getting close,!!! where is your boyfriend going after graduation? my son is going to pensecola florida for A school. avation structual mechanic. he leaves on sunday night or monday after graduation. ahhhhh...another night not much sleep. i think i will try to count sheep. good night. ps....ill try to finf out somewhere on this site if we can tell each other their names kay?? good night!

Awesome! I'm hopefully staying there as well. I fly out late on the the 7th so I should defiantly be there, I hope.
Thats so great a lot of you can go, I'm the only one going for my boyfriend, his family can't make it, sadly. You are not alone on pulling all nighters, it's been a normal thing for me since he left because I can't get him off my mind. I read the rules, as long as it's not his last name it's no problem. I think everyone stands watch, not sure though, your son has a lot of responsibility's, and is obviously doing well, you must be so proud. I do have a question for you, do you know when they do Battle stations? I've found a lot of post from other ships and divisions, but not for ours. I wanna make sure I get that day off, for when he calls, if he calls me. I know it's been so long! I've been counting by Fridays, so just three more! His A school is across the street from RTC his an Engineer, he'll be an Engineman what I've read about it is he'll be fixing pretty much everything on the ship, and he'll be enlisted for 6 years instead of 4 =( just two more years right? I'm still going to marry him though, lol, he hasn't proposed but I know he's the one,,, sorry. anywho, he doesn't report to A school until Monday after graduation. My boyfriends name is Chauncey.
Goodnight and try to get, I'm sure, some much needed sleep. on nights like this I play some piano music it helps a little.

HI......I just sent my son a letter priority mail. Every now & then I send priority so that he gets it in 2 days. I asked him if he knows your boyfriend, I told him his name., My sons name is Justin. He is doing amazing & yes I am soooooooooo proud of him! Oh and yes....he did say that his division has some marching issues!! haha My son is pretty funny in the way he says stuff about that. He also said that he has about 8 real good friends. In his letters he says stuff like "Yaall". He said some of his friends have accents so at times he said he is starting to talk like them. lol I have not seen when our divisions battlestations is. Like you mentioned, others are posted just not ours yet. My cell phone has become my 3rd hand!! I am so afraid i will miss a call (well i only have had 1) but i am afraid to miss one if they are given another one before battlestations is over. in one of my sons letters this week he said that he probably will not be able to call for 2 weeks so thats probably about when battlestations will be. oh and im sure you will be marrying him....he is lucky to have you and all your support. if it was not for you, he would not have anyone at the graduation since you said his family cant go. im sure he really appreciates you!! .......................Hello Momto!!!! Yeah, now there is 3 of us with our loved ones in the same division and ship!!! It appears that our division has only gotten 1 call....thats a bummer. It was wonderful to hear his voice...i put him on speaker phone and called my parents so we could all talk with him!!! we only got about not even 10 minutes to talk...it went by soooooooooo fast. oh yeah then there was a man yelling in the background for everyone to hang up.....my son was like"ummm mom, I have to go" then there was just a quick click. It was sad for me but I have grown much stronger over these last few weeks. Well, i have to leave for work..........SailorsAngel amd Momto I hope you have a great day today and see you ladies very soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im so excited but sad too because ill have to say goodbye again :0(

Oh momto.....i bet our sons know one another. My son said he has scored a perfect score 5.0 on all his inspections etc...... and there was only 3 others that had too! hey and your from texas, ...my son says he has been talking with an accent because alot of his friends have accents. could be your son. That would be cool!! okay so now i really do have to leave for work. bye bye

Very good, I'm so excited for tomorrow since it letter day! I'm gonna ask him about Justin and Frank. What does he say about the marching??? thats great, I'm sure the more friends they have the better. Chauncey has an accent but he's filipino. I'll keep looking around for the dates I've asked him, but I wanna know sooner, lol! I know, I'm never without my cell these days, except at work, it kills me, the day he called me I usually work but thank God I didn't or else I wouldn't have gotten his call. I've only had one as well. LOL I sure hope so, thinking about our future makes todays a little easier. I was able to talk to him for 11 minutes, I kept saying " Oh my God!" when he said "Hi Katie!" he laughed at me, it was so good to hear his voice and laughter, It was a bummer because I was rushing everything I was saying, so I stuttered a lot. I was able to hear the RDC yell at them to "wrap it up!"they sounded scary. He said "I love you" a lot, then he said "bye" and I corrected him "see you later" before he hung up. We don't say he "left" we say "wen away" it seems less permanent, same thing with "good-bye" we say "see you later" instead for the same reason. This is boot-camp for both sides in different reasons. It will make us all stronger. Ugh, I can't wait to be back in his arms!
My boyfriend got 5.0 as well! This is so cool, I'm getting so excited!

Momto, Thanks I'm gonna check it out. It's nice to see another member on here.
Do you know what his rate is? It may be unpopular, but it can help him in advancement, I went to one of my boyfriends DEP meetings, [delayed enlistment program] it was about how you advance, you have reviews from you CO's and your service, So things like this in boot-camp look great later.

Anyways, gonna go write him a letter, and get some sleep. Have a great day tomorrow, technically today I guess.

Good morning!! Just heading out for a run then another long day!! 1 day closer though!!! He said when someone messes up they have to do IT (intensive training) which he said they had to do alot of. He used to wrestle in high school so he said its easy for him, just long, like an hour of it non stop. when they had the PT testing he scored first in situps & second in the mile and a half run and third in the pushups in the division. That was in his very first letter to me. He is super atheletic, runs, bikes, and played football, basketball & wrestled so he was in real shape upon getting there. Even if someones rack is not right or clothes folded properly they have to do IT. He said someone called Chief a Petty Officer by mistake and they had to do IT. So yeah....apparently there was a lot of IT. Hope you have a great day today.........See you soon!!!
